‘But what fruit were you getting at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. ‘ Romans 6:21

Gardens are starting to bring forth their fruits for the season.

Beautiful, brilliant, ripe red tomatoes.

Fresh cucumbers add that special crisp and bold taste to a summer salad.

Fresh peas! What a treat. More of these little beads of deliciousness end up in your mouth than in the bowl, for the first few meals.

What kind of fruits are your gardens sprouting?

St. Paul compares the fruitfulness of our efforts as humans, before and after coming we have the faith to accept Christ Jesus as our Lord.

Before we know Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are subject to producing fruits of the flesh. And these fruits lead us to guilt and shame and eventually lead to death and eternal damnation.

But, with Christ, our fruits are like the beautiful fruits of our garden, life-giving, joyful, hopeful, and abounding with love. Christ has chosen us to be His and we want to encourage all those who do not know Christ as their Savior to open their hearts, minds, and souls to Him.
