Confidence Destroys Fear and Failure
“For we live by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians5:7NIV
Today I am grateful to God for confidence.
There she stood in all her beauty. Nostrils flaring and lightning bolts flashing from her big black eyes. She wasn’t kidding.
She had just closed the 34 yards between us faster than Walter Payton and convinced me to scale the fence. Thankfully, my legs propelled me up and over before she had the chance to give me a boost.
I thank God for granting me confidence in my ability to perceive the risk and more importantly confidence in being able to escape.
I understand the risk of failing to successfully escape a mad (pissed off) cow. My eight front top teeth are secured by root canal screws from one of these failures.
The second of these failures to escape resulted in a head butt beating to my tailbone. The cows head to my tailbone. This bought me a prostate infection and eventually a roto router surgery for my prostate. If you want a better description ask Google about Green Line TURP.
