Confidence Has a Great Reward
Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.
Faith inspires great confidence.
When we have confidence in our destination. Tasks and obligations that once appeared daunting, become doable.
You can remember a time when boiling an egg or jumping rope or tying your shoes was trying, right?
Do you remember the call to action? Mom wipe my butt!
And now you do these tasks with high confidence, well maybe boiling an egg or tying your shoes, or wiping your butt. Jumping rope may be another topic for another day.
We have confidence we can accomplish these tasks because we have rehearsed them hundreds and thousands of times.
But what about that new task? That one that you haven’t rehearsed?
I know that you don’t have these experiences. But I certainly do.
As I get older and wiser I am often more afraid of being embarrassed by falling down or by having to ask for help. I am afraid of appearing incompetent.
