Put your feet on the floor. Thank God for giving you another day to bring Him glory! Then see what wonders, opportunities, obstacles and misfortunes present themselves today.
Oh, ya.
Let the dog out to pee.
I am a farm kid, been one all my life. So, I never really have to worry about having something to do today.
- Check my notes from yesterday
- Make coffee
- Make sure that the livestock have feed and water.
- Mend a fence.
- Change oil and grease and lube a machine.
- Sweep the floor and burn the garbage.
- Write down what you did today.
And, although I have never lived your life, I am certain that you have the similar circumstances and options throughout your day. You really don’t have to create tasks to perform or projects to finish, you just have to choose.
And thankfully we are blessed with routine, but what happens when your routine is interrupted?
Did you notice?
My routine starts and ends with reading and writing. To me these are the key to staying and getting into a routine.
