I am greeted at the door by the hardware store manager who is wearing a grain bin dust mask and black nitrile gloves?

“What is this? Spring cleaning?” I ask.

“Haven’t you heard of the Covid-19?” He responds

Yes, I had heard of Covid-19.

So what? We live in the middle of fly over country.

I have work to do and I need 6 three quarter inch bolts 10 inches long with washers and lock nuts.

Turn off the news. Blood and guts sell. If it bleeds it leads is a popular saying in the news business. And in this day and age of 24 hour news everywhere you turn it is almost impossible to avoid being bombarded with bad news 24 hours a day.
