22–23But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard-things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely. Galatians 5:22–23 MSG

Remember the last time you had one of “those” days? Do you remember thinking? How am I going to find the strength and energy to accomplish all that I have to do today?

And then your mate or your child or parent asks, “Could you wash my favorite pair of jeans today?”

Or the boss says, “I know your desktop is full of projects, but Bob needs this done Now.”

Or one of my all time favorite fun stopping statements, “Joe just called to let you know that our cows are in his corn field.” UGH!

Thankfully, we have the Spirit. And, from Galatians 5, we learn that this is an amazing advantage…
