Here’s What I Got From Being Mad About Growing Old

You can be mad but it only makes you get old faster.

They made the decision to build the outhouse with out my input!

And while I was away for the weekend!

The gall! How could they? Wasn’t my phone working?

I tryed to hide my disappointment and anger, but I couldn’t. About all I could do is keep my mouth shut and keep moving away and hope that they just left me alone to digest all this information.

And. . .

Why was I upset? I should be proud that they took the initiative and made the decision.

I should be happy that they made the arrangements and got the job done. And they did a great job too.

They are growing up and, God willing, that is what we are all blessed to do. Grow older and wiser and braver. And I want to be grateful that they are.

But. . .

They could have called!
