I am a writer.

Prove it.

1. Practice in public

I write spiritual meditations and share them with the world by posting on my website and by sending them to people by email.

Jeff Goins in his book You are a Writer (so start ACTING like one) calls this practicing in public. Practicing in public moves writing from dream to reality.

2. Write every day.

Stephen King, On Writing, writes every day, holidays and birthdays included.

Writing is like operating a restaurant. If you want to be successful you have to show up EVERYDAY. Especially on the weekends and holidays. After all that may be when inspiration shines.

3. Writing is work. Show up for work.
