What you think you will become?
King Solomon in Proverbs said:
“Be very careful about what you think. Your thoughts run your life. Don’t use your mouth to tell lies. Don’t ever say things that are not true. “Keep your eyes focused on what is right. keep looking straight ahead to what is good. Be careful what you do. Always do what is right. Do not do anything unless it is right. Stay away from evil.” Proverbs 4:23–27 ICB
What you think you will become? You know the guy, right? That one never has much good to say about any situation or person.
Have you ever noticed that you will walk across the street to avoid his negativity? Or do you stop and see him for your morning dose of negativity?
I know that I do my best to avoid negative thoughts and ideas. As a farmhand, it is difficult because something seems always to be waiting to fall apart at the most inappropriate time.
- The cows find or make a hole in the fence
- The truck has a flat tire
- An oil line breaks and sprays oil all over the equipment
But then. . .
