Second Chances. Again

Today I am grateful to God for second chances. Again.

In today’s Bible verse Peter asks Jesus how many times he should forgive a brother or sister that sins against him? Seven times? Jesus replies, “Not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”

The picture today is our old family car. It has a second chance as the primary farm rig. This car is my calf carrier and calf warmer and cow guide.

I am grateful for second chances. Again. You know, Do Overs, Mulligans, Try and Try Again. Second Chances are my opportunity to apply what I learned from messing up the first time. And more times than not I need to learn these lessons several times before they stick.

Each day is a new opportunity to fail, and to learn from those failures. To learn the next wrong way to do something.

Thomas Edison said something to that effect when he was inventing the light bulb. He learned 10,000 ways not to make a light bulb first.

Again and again this is how I have changed my attitude to work. It is practice. Learning through doing.

So, today please remember, you are forgiven. You are forgiven more times than…
