Rolling Corn for Cow Feed by Tom Penrod

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. James 1:12 KJV

The Ability to Work

I am grateful to God for…

I am going to thank God for blessing me every day through this Lenten season.

Today I am grateful to God for the ability to work.

Work. Yes, I know that it is a four-letter word and for many, but not you, it is a word that creates great tension, anxiety, worries perhaps even fear.

I am grateful for work.

Work gives me something to do. Work makes me tired and relieves tension.

Work helps me accomplish a goal or task, no matter how small, like make the bed and helps relieve anxiety.

Work moves my mind away from worry, it is difficult to worry about the weather when you are shoveling snow.

Work gives me the courage to do something, to experiment with a new method. Fear creates courage.

Work allows me to use the superpowers that God has given me.

How can I help someone today? Work.

How can I create value and assets today? Work.

How can I get the cows fed today? Work.
