Where do your clothes come from? Amazon, Etsy, Ebay, JC Penney? Did you know that your clothes come from the ground?
- Cotton is plant based
- Wool comes from sheep
- Leather from cows, pigs, sheep
- Even Nylon is a carbon based polymer created under intense heat and pressure
From the time of Adam and Eve used fig leaves to cover their nakedness, we have used natural products to create clothing.
And even with costs rising at rates not seen since Jimmy Carter was President one of the easiest things to do today is find high quality clothing in abundance.
Even Good Will has plenty of great clothing opportunities. So we need not be like our original parents and seeking our clothing from the plants and trees in the back yard.
And what about the food on your plate?
I don’t know about where you live but where I lived during the pandemic you could drive by the school and pick up as many lunches as you needed everyday. You didn’t even need to get out of the car.
