What Do You Do When You Have Deleted Hours of Work?

I just deleted 1673 words of work. Now What?

And no I have not learned how to undo that action. YET?

I am wishing I could dive in and grab it. Have you ever done that? Dived into a smelly dumpster seeking to find that one thing? Or may even just stuck your hand into the kitchen garbage in search of the spoon or fork your child pitched when she was cleaning off the dinner table.

Over my 61 years, I have learned that the wet and slimy stuff that gets on my hands will wash off with just clear water. And the water doesn’t even have to be clear it could be that mud puddle at the end of the drive. You know that puddle where the children love to jump when they have their school or church clothes on. You know that puddle, right?

I just have to get my mind wrapped around the thought of overcoming that obstacle. If this problem was only that simple and sticking my hands into that stinky, slimy, goo and seeking to find the lost diamond ring.

But it is not. To me this article has vanished into the ether, never to be seen or read again.
