Why are Compassion and Empathy Necessary?

So, Okay, compassion and empathy are not my strong suits. In fact, if you ask my family they may say that my hand in cards is filled mostly with spades and clubs. Maybe a single diamond and no hearts.

Well, they probably won’t say that today, cause it is Father’s Day. So, maybe I drew a heart from the deck today.

I am thankful that my wife’s hand is full of hearts, perhaps all thirteen of them. (She never loses).

She is the shining example of empathy and compassion.
